Happy birthday to Antoine de Saint-Exupery! He would have been 109 years old on Monday.
I woke up Sunday morning, lazily rolling from my bed late for my morning stretches, only for the knowledge that Saint-Exupery's birthday was the next day to hit me. Somehow, I got it in my head I needed to do something in celebration. So I hastily began designing and knitting this little guy. He might have been done on time had I not had so many errands to run and chores to do and dates to keep in the last few days.... I worry his hair looks strange. I based it off an existing little prince doll I'd once seen. I think it looked similar to mine, but I wasn't looking at the doll while I made mine. I just had my book. [link] more pictures [link] |
